TERMS
AND CONDITIONS:
This is a summary of our
terms and conditions which are shown on the reverse
side of our rental agreement. These you should read
carefully before signing. In the event of any conflict
between this and our terms and conditions the terms
and conditions shall prevail.
Driving
Licence
Please provide at the same time of
rental a full valid licence for each driver which must have
been held for at least two years for drivers aged 21-25 and
one year for drivers aged 25-70. For minibuses, the minimum
age is 23 years.
Non UK Licence
Overseas visitors must provide a licence valid in their
country of origin with an international driving permit and
translation into English if possible.
Endorsements may be
accepted at our insurers discretion.
Identification
With all licence's and methods of payment, please provide at
least two forms of identity with addresses on, which can be
verified at the time of rental.
All rental rates are
based on a 24 hour period. If the vehicle is returned later
than agreed, each additional hour (or part thereof) will be
charged at one eighth of the daily rate. If you wish to
extend the rental beyond the agreed return date you must
advise us immediately and make the required prepayment.
Failure to do so may result in the hirer driving without
insurance cover.
Payment
We will require the estimated rental cost plus a security
deposit of £200.00 (Two hundred pounds). Where
applicable, the deposit will be refunded on return. We
accept MasterCard/Access, Visa/Barclaycard, Switch and Cheque supported by a bankers card.
Insurance
Rental rates include unlimited third party insurance cover
and collision damage waiver (CDW) for approved drivers. For
Non UK Licence holders, there is a surcharge of £5.00
(Five pounds) per rental.
Customers own
insurance Hirer may arrange comprehensive insurance through
their own insurers for the duration of the rental. A valid
cover note must be produced prior to the start of the rental.
Exclusion from
insurance Our policy does not cover loss or damage to goods
belongings in transit. CDW, which is inclusive within all
rates, does not waive your liability for the cost of any
damage as detailed within clause 6 of our standard
Conditions of hire. The hirer remains responsible for the
first £200.00 (Two hundred pounds) in each and every
case of damage.
Long
Term Rental
We will be pleased to supply
details of special prices for long term rentals.
Use outside the UK
Certain vehicles may be taken abroad with our prior consent.
Quotations provided upon request.
Operators
Licence/Tachograph
When hiring a vehicle
in excess of 3.5 Tonnes GVW or fitted with a tacograph, it
is the hirers responsibility for ensuring that the
tachograph is used and operators licence suitably endorsed
for driving the hire vehicle.
We reserve the right
to vary the rates, conditions and models for rental at ant
time and refuse rental without giving reasons.
